Reading dbf with SMT (sixmemo) file

#1 Post by skiman »

Hi,

I need to read an dbf with a SMT sixmemo file. The DBF contains 15 memo fields which are in the SMT file. This seems to be the sixmemo format.

Anyone who has any thoughts?
Best regards,

Chris.

If you can find the Six Driver files: NOMACH6, SIX3.LIB I could possible build you a Clipper program.

I can't find those files. I haven't used them in about 15 years.

Hi Roger,

I also have the old Clipper drivers and some extra libraries. I think I have them somewhere.

However, my problem is solved, I just found a tool 'DBFnavigator' which opened these files without problem. After opening I could save them to Dbase III. All my info is now in a DBT file.
Best regards,

Chris.

Great. I never liked working with the Six Driver.
