Hi,
in my applicaton I use XbpHtmlViewer() for displaying XML files. It work fine have problem when the file is not to large. For example an XML file with ca 50.000 lines (ca 4 MB) is OK, but file with 100.000 lines (ca 10 MB) can't be displayed. Have someone experience with displaying great XML files from an Xbase application? Maybe is another way/another tool (ActiveX?) for displaying so large XML files with functionality as XbpHtmlViewer (printing, '+' and '-' switches etc)?

XbpHtmlViewer() IS ActiveX. It uses the IE ActiveX control.

I don't know if there is a content length limitation with the ActiveX control.
Have you tried displaying the XML in Internet Explorer?

Roger,
I know that XbpHtmlViewer() is based on IE ActiveX. Question was if is an another ActiveX.
These IE ActiveX work better with large XML as full version of IE (IE is "busy" with 5MB
XML file).

I don't know if Mozilla or Chrome offer an ActiveX.

You may want to Google it.

I think I saw something in the Alaska newsgroups about someone using OpenOffice with ActiveX successfully.

But never had a chance to explore further... :-(
