I installed a new server which (I hope) will provide better performance.

IP addresses have also changed and DNS records have been updated so you should not have any problems accessing the website or the board.

Please let me know if you have problems.

I can only find the forum by going in through your website Donnay-Software.com

I was going in with http://bb.donnay-software.com:8080/phpBB3
Now I can get in with http://bb.donnay-software.com/Donnay

You can also get there by: http://bb.donnay-software.com.

Three years ago, when I moved my office and set up a new server, I had difficulty getting my static ip addresses set up so I could use port 80 for both my apache server and my xb2net server. I have resolved that problem with my new server by binding them to different IP addresses. I was worried that most of the BB users had set up shortcuts to 8080 and now it appears that is true. I need to find a way to forward port 8080 on this server to port 80. I'm going to try stunnel. I originally tried with my router but that created other problems.

Regan -

I checked the date on the server and discovered that it was set one day in the future.
When I bought this server, I got a special deal on Amazon.com. It took them almost 3 weeks to get it to me. Now I understand why. It must have been shipped from the island of Samoa which sits on the International Date Line. That's the only way that it could have been exactly 24 hours in the future.

I have 2 more International Date Line stories.

1. I was on a flight to Australia and was sitting next to a woman who realized that she was not going to have a birthday this year. Her birthday was supposed to start at midnight but got lost over Samoa.

2. I was sitting in the ET shack on a U.S. Navy destroyer when suddenly an announcement came over the ships loud speakers: "All hands wishing to see the International Dateline, muster on the Asroc Deck - with flashlights". All sailors who went up to see it were doused with buckets of water, including my division officer.

BTW - Notice how my response to you was posted before you even asked the question. Now that's good tech support.

Hi Roger

I noticed this morning that the date and time showing on this board at my end are:

It is currently Tue Feb 19, 2013 8:55 am

I'm sure the time difference is not not fully to blame for this or am I wrong about that?

I must setup UTC+3 to get the correct time ;) (your server and my local time)
Right is UTC+1 for my Country

This is driving me crazy. Now I found that the time was reset to EST instead of MST. I forgot to set the time zone. I hope everything is correct now.
