Happy Birthday

#1 Post by sdenjupol148 »

Roger,

After so many years of working with you, traveling with you and spending time with you, I feel very lucky to call you friend.
I can't count the number of times I don't have an answer for something and you do.
Whenever I get "stuck", you always help me out.
And when I need to vent, you always listen.
I'm also amazed how much support you provide to other people who who have nothing to do with programming.
You are a person people can count on and that's probably why so many people come to you.

I guess one of the reasons we get along so well is that we are alike in many ways.
We have the same common goals, we both overwork ourselves, we take on too many active projects at one time and we find it very hard to say 'No'.
In short, we are gluttons for punishment

But through it all, I can't think of a better friend I can depend on.

Happy Birthday my friend and many more. :occasion-cake:

Bobby

Bobby, Chris and Brian -

Those are very nice sentiments and are much appreciated. Thank you.

BTW - I will never live to be 100.
I started counting down 4 years ago. I am getting younger, not older. I hope to live to be 40.

Just as there is a thing called "anti-matter" there is also a thing called "anti-aging".
The universe will eventually collapse back into a singularity and I am counting on the reversal of entropy.

I learned a lot in the past year by watching Donald Trump.
He has changed all the rules about what is possible in America.

The truth no longer matters.
The FBI no longer matters.
Our allies have become our enemies.
Our enemies have become our allies.
Dictators are now people to be admired.
Democracy was just a fad.

This is the great "reversal" and proves that we can no longer believe any more in the "arrow of time".

We are living in the "Twilight Zone" in which there are no more birthdays and reality has been turned on its head.

The good news in all of this is that we all get to live in interesting times.
The eXpress train is coming - and it has more cars.

Hi Roger,

Trump maybe changed a lot, but he won't succeed to change the three B-s.

Bikes, Babes and Beer makes every man happy. :D
Best regards,

Chris.
