fyi, for those of you who have been in the dbase world forever, I recently re-connected with Tom Leylan over linkedin..

Brian,

Peace, love and joy to you and your family.

To my good friend Roger,
Best of health, happiness and success in the coming year.

To all my friends out there in xBase++/express land,
May the coming year be even better than this year was.

I am happy and proud to be part of this community.

All the best to everyone. :occasion-xmas:

All the best to you all. Take a little time out and enjoy the holidays. There will be enough work to be done in 2016.

And: Thanks a lot, Roger.
Best regards,
Tom

"No."
"Okay, give me a second chance."

Brian, Bobby and Tom -

We have all been friends for over 15 years.
Who would have imagined that we would still be working in the same language and also making plans for improving our software in that same language? It says a lot for the capabilities of Xbase++ and for the strength of our community.

I look forward to 2016 and learning more stuff about Xbase++ 2.0.
My wishes are for Alaska Software to be as successful with the Foxpro community as it was with the Clipper community.

Soon I am going to start a project with a VFP developer to help him convert his application to Xbase++.
The success of this project could mean a lot to our community and hopefully we will all be doing this for many more years.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need something to get my mind off of American politics. I think I'm going mad. :angry-screaming: Hopefully, this project will do it.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you and all eXpress++ users. :text-merryxmas: :text-happynewyear:
The eXpress train is coming - and it has more cars.
