Is "Science Fiction" an oxymoron?

#1 Post by rdonnay »

I find that I am less and less interested in science fiction as I get older and much more interested in science fact.

I just finished watching "Oblivion" for the 2nd time, but it just doesn't satisfy.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson's "Cosmos" is much more satisfying because it asks questions and also answers questions. Science fiction doesn't do either.

I was a "Star-Trek Next Generation" junkie back in the 90's.

It just doesn't float my boat any more.

Archimedes still does.
The eXpress train is coming - and it has more cars.
