Developer's License required

#1 Post by rdonnay »

I just upgraded my Xbase++ Professional version to the latest version so as to get access to the new filtering and indexing capabilities but now I cannot make a connection to PostGreSql server anymore.

Error says that it requires a developer or client license.
An internet search directs me to a page that says I need to log into the ASI portal but there are no directions on how to get there.

Here is an update on this:

No amount of searching on the Microsoft Bing webbrowser would get me there, but the first hit on Google Chrome took me right to it:

https://portal.alaska-software.com/client-licenses

I made my request for a free client license.

Hi Roger,

When I had read you are working on a project for 1200 NY courts, i was thinking about the amount of licences you will need when you move to the PGdbe. Don't forget there is a licence fee for each user!
Best regards,

Chris.

My guess is that this will be acceptable to the State of New York.
