Apple

#1 Post by omni »

Got this question from a user, I have no clue.

We are looking at laptops and want to check whether OMNI will operate on an apple laptop.

Standard xbase, no ADS. fairly small user. Some on network, some remotely connecting.

Thanks,

Fred

Hi, Fred.

If you have Macs based on Intel processors, you can install stuff like Boot Camp and run Windows on them. Several tools like "Parallels" even allow to run Windows inside Mac OS. So, no problem. Interaction with Mac Software is limited.
Best regards,
Tom

As I doubt they want to buy old x86 laptops, you need to test this with current lineup.

They have free option so you can try it beforehand.

It will work, slower than on equal class x86 machine.
