ADS server and windows 100.

#1 Post by bwolfsohn »

My tech people are telling me they're having some difficulty with ADS 11 and windows 10. Is anyone using ADS and windows 10, and what version of ADS are you using ?

after getting more info, the server is running w2k8 - r2 and the clients are running windows 10. ads works for awhile, then 5381 errors. i'm having them turn off sleep mode on the network cards.

Auge_ohr, we have always used standard ports and computer names. not unc paths. the only limitations we've found have been on segmented networks.. that's not the case here...

Put the port behind the server, f.e. \\myserver:6262\Daten
I use ADS 11.1 with win10 clients, with the last update to 1803 i got a 6420 error, putting the port to the server solved the connection problem.
