Open Foxpro database with CDX in Xbase++

Hi,
Sorry, I still write about this problem, but I got one idea.
For short info, I have problem with open Foxpro database with index CDX created in Visual Foxpro 6.
Browse do not work also seek not work.
I remembered, than database was created in DOS Foxpro 2x, then our office go to windows application with Visual Foxpro 6. Database are still readable in DOS programs like CA Clipper 5.3, but index CDX no !
VFP 6 application have not problem with open "mixed" files, DBF Foxpro2x and index CDX VFP6.
But can be , that Alaska Xbase strictly need both files same type ??? and this causes problem ?
