long .ppo filenames

is there a compiler directive which will allow the generation of long .ppo filenames instead of things like mobile_data_setup.ppo instead of mobile~1.ppo
mobile_data_functions.ppo instead of mobile~2.ppo

I don't have that problem. Long file names are preserved in the .PPO under 1.9 and 2.0.
The eXpress train is coming - and it has more cars.
