Announcing release of BOA - Build Online Applications

#1 Post by skiman »

Hi,

I'm pleased to announce the release of the system BOA for which I posted some info in December. At this stage we have a production version ready.

In short: BOA is a tool which helps you to create a webbased application without any knowledge of web technologies. You don't need to know anything about html, css, node, angular, react, ... You only use your existing tools to create an iAPI. You can create this with Xbase++ or with other tools as Visual Foxpro, Freepascal, Cobol, ...

You can find al the information about it on the website: https://www.boa-platform.com. The documentation is a work in progress and will be finished by the end of the month.

In case of any questions, you can contact me, or post to the forum on the website.

Best regards,

Chris Andries

Hi Victorio,

For the login, did you try one of the combinations as shown on the site? If you want to test in English, login: en and password en01.

When the URL is empty, it will get the information of my demo server on Microsoft Azure.

When you want to test and you have created an iAPI on your own server, you can enter your server address.

If any question, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,

Chris.

Now it works, thx.
Looks nice, it is worth considering how to use it
In the future I need some solution for my app but for 1600-2000 users in organization. But it is a government, and there it is a little complicated how to convince them to pay for it :o

Hi,

The licence system is based on the number of API servers, not on users. How many API servers would their be used?

skiman : I think, only one server, but when traffic will be intensive, maybe more .
First I need more time to look your demo how it works, and how can I implement for my app.
thanks
