I will be travelling to a Navy reunion in San Diego and also off to see my brother in Arizona.
As the organizer of the reunion, I will be swamped with work and therefore will have no time for support.
This is why we have this forum, so we can support each other.
I won't be back until very late in October.
Stuart Mitchell is brand new to Xbase++ and may need some guidance.
He is a PHD and has much programming experience but none in Clipper or Xbase++
He recently purchased a company in New Zealand whose product was originally written in Clipper and then converted to Xbase++. The product uses eXpress++ extensively. The original developer is unable to provide support and therefore I have suggested to him that he use this forum.
I worked with Stuart on and off for the past 2 weeks to help him understand the Xbase++ and eXpress++ language and environment, however he will need much more help in the future.
If any of you have a few spare hours of time available each week, Stuart would be grateful for your help.
I will not be available to him again until November.

Re: Away for 2 weeks
Hi thanks for Introducing me Roger.
Yeah I am completely new to Xbase++ and now own a company that supports an Xbase product
Though Roger has done a great job helping us get up to speed compiling and running the code. I would appreciate any help I can get.
My company is also looking for someone with consulting time available to help us bundle this software with a software installer suitable for windows 10.
At the moment we have the software installed in several locations but we would like to get an installer up and running that allows the users to install it easily without any of the permissions problems they can get when it currently installs at the root of the C:\ drive.
Please Contact me at stu@stuartmitchell.com if you would be interested.

Re: Away for 2 weeks
Hi Stewart,
If you want to create an install file, you can look into Inno Setup at jrsoftware .org.
It's the same one that creates the eXpress++ installation package.
I haven't had a chance to use it yet but Roger explained that it was a very easy program to use.

I can confirm it is very easy to use.
It is a great and free tool.
