You can see the source and make a well educated decision based upon what you see in version 237.

This is the best supported product in the xbase++ world..

Bruce,

I may be oversimplifying it, but i believe this only applies to dcsays, not dcgets, or browse items.. if the word seek had an & in it at the top of the browse, i suspect it too would be affected.

You can download the trial version of this small twain driver software from http://www.akond.net install it and just run it as a standalone program to see fully how the dialog behave so that your can adjust you sample solution more appropriately. so it is a "external" Dialog. while it is not a Xbas...

Steffen and Andreas have posted a statement in the data-access newsgroup of Alaska to that subject. Wolfgang, thanks for the heads up... We don't get much information from the powers that be at alaska, but in this case, the info is excellent and help give us a clearer approach to this problem.. Brian

i can't confirm this. I had at least 2 customer sites with "pure" SMB2 (one p2p-Win7 and one with Win2008R2-Server and Win7 clients) where i had a lot of trouble with defect indexes. After switch off SMB2, all was okay... i did have warn you, turn off SMB2 is NOT a Option !!! we've had many of the ...

Is ths a single user ?? or a multi-user ? If multi, can other users print this ? 1. different printer than your other reports. FYI: This is the school sec that we are working with most of the time. Can this computer print ANYTHING ?? or does it just abort on this report ? YES it prints all other reports from within our application. It even prints these text files from notepad. It only abort on a text file from within the a...

Can this computer print ANYTHING ?? or does it just abort on this report ??

Could it be a contaminated printer driver ??
