CodeJock Skin
Hi all Until recently, my Xcodejock skin framework was working fine. My OS is Windows 7 premium. I think windows update made changes to my OS which is now causing my FASTREPORT designer dialog to open partially and the hang. Is there a way I can disable codejock skin for this particular dialog ? Tha...

Re: Will multi-core support be available in Xbase++ 2 ?
I agree with you Tom. May be Xbase++ underline architecture is a complicated one. You remember SL1.9 is about 4 years old (2008), yet a lot of my colleagues using C#, VB ...NET, PowerBasic etc. are always amazed about the versatility of Xbase++ and I wonder why. Those languages are updated almost ev...

Re: Will multi-core support be available in Xbase++ 2 ?
Yes Tom
This is the current situation. Steffen made the above comments recently and I simply assume that Xbase++ will address the limitations you mentioned, if I get Steffen correct in his statement. Simply put, when will this technology be available ?

Will multi-core support be available in Xbase++ 2 ?
Called from DEVCON WEST 2012 From: Steffen Pirsig In this late-night session, Steffen will talk about the vision Alaska Software has for the Xbase++ development platform. Starting with the basic idea that the Polarfox project is going to be much more than "just" a VFP successor, he will outline deta...

Re: COLOR INTERPRETATION
AutomationTranslatecolor() does NOT work. For now, Fastreport for Xbase++ not supported, Sergey Spirin died. But no doubt, Fastreport is an excellent report writer and it exits as an activex. It will be nice if what Sergey did on the Fastreport using DLL calls, can be translated to Activex impliment...

COLOR INTERPRETATION
Hi all I use Fastreport for Xbase++ and would like to translate Xbase++/Codejock color code to the format example as stated in the documentation below: The low three bytes represent RGB color intensities for blue, green, and red, respectively. The value $00FF0000 represents full-intensity, pure blue...

Re: How to attach a datablock to DCACTIVEXCONTROL
If you need only simple editor, the RICHTX32.OCX is sufficient. Most of those functionalities such as spellcheck, and FTP can be added to it. FTP functionalities are available in xb2.net and spellcheck sample of express++ can be adapted accordingly. I did something like that, as shown below: RTF.JPG

How Can I cause Express to Validate Fields When I Click SAVE
Hello Roger
I have a SAVE button in my main Dialog. If I open a dialog (MDI) and enter some GETs, I want all the VALID clauses of my GETs to be executed, before a successful save. Similar to EXITVALIDATE clause of DCGETOPTIONS, but my dialog is not closed.
Thanks.
Joseph.
