First programs under 2.0

#1 Post by Eugene Lutsenko »

Installed Windows 10, Alaska 2.0 + Express++. Configured environment variables. From 1.9 on the computer there is nothing at all (new computer). I'm trying to make the first programs on 2.0. the error shown in the screenshot Occurs. How do I fix this? Writes that the entry point to the procedure was not found. Not found in the DLL.

When you run projects in 2.0, they are not executed, but the workbench starts immediately. How can I avoid this?

How do I determine which ch and lib files are really necessary for the program to work?

You need an update from Xb2.Net.

I'm afraid I can't help as I cannot see the screenshot images that you have included. Don't know why that is. It tells me the image doesn't exist any more...

Why are you using Xb2Net?

You may not need it with Xbase++ 2.0.

2.0 has mostly everything you need for the internet.

I used xb2net when I was working on 1.9 and I didn't have 2.0. I still work on 1.9, because I can't do what I can do on 2.0 on 1.9. But I set up a separate computer with w10 and Alaska 2.0 to switch to 2.0+Express++. I know that 2.0 has everything for the Internet, but in 1.9 this was not the case and I used xb2net. You will have to rewrite these code snippets without xb2net.
