Hi Jose,

I've tried many different Foxpro or Visual Foxpro database repair programs and the best I've found and been able to try is DBF Recovery.
https://www.dbf2002.com/dbf-recovery/

I have been able to repair most corrupted DBFs with this, although it may not always be able to reconstruct the contents of the DBF (especially if a larger part of the data file is corrupted), the DBF will be readable after repair.

hi,

the "best" to "repair" is to use a "Backup" ;)

---

what Type of DBF :?:
if Memo what Type :?:

---

it will not help much when DBF get "corrupt" again ...
show use your DBESYS how you "configure" DBE

@Jose - Agree on that.

And if everything fails, you can with DBF always write a small program that strips away header, then parses binary through file
and each (size of structure + 1 Byte) writes into text file + CR + LF .
Then you have SDF file that can be checked for errors easily and imported back into dbf

but really nothing beats regular backup, disk space today is cheap
