Do I need ADS?
I've been running my converted Clipper ERP in XBASE++ 1.9 for about 6 weeks now with DBFCDX dbe. What has become obvious is that the indexes are much more stable, i.e. I've had no index corruptions since the conversion has been shaken out. My converted app uses the same Clipper nightly index rebuild...

Re: eXpress++ 2.0 build dclipc error
OK, I'll go in another direction. I was getting a runtime dll error on startup indicating some of my dlls were compiled with an earlier version after running the eXpress 2.0 update. I drilled down on that process and found a few of the individual compiles hadn't run or compiled with 1.90. Anyway, I ...

eXpress++ 2.0 build dclipc error
I'm getting the following error when compiling dclipc.dll: "[Hint] : Error: Cannot find file C:\EXP19\bin20\DCLIPC.def" There's a copy elsewhere I've pasted into that folder but it goes away during the build. What do I do here?

ACHOICE() not behaving as documented
I've gone over with Roger on this one and it seems to be a bug with Xbase++. Works fine with no user function. With a user function, documentation is the same as Clipper, the up and down arrow keys, among a few others should remain as navigation keys but xbase treats them like exception keys. It's p...

timesync() from Novlib
Does anyone mind sharing what he's done to sync workstation times with server time? I use timesync() from novlib in my Clipper app that I'm converting.

Re: Win8 BSOD "Page Error in nonpaged area" during linking
Thanks for the help. Funny, as soon as you answered, I haven't had a crash since on about 100 links. I've run the SMB2 and changed the Novell client anyway. Hopefully this goes away for good. Thanks again!

Re: Win8 BSOD "Page Error in nonpaged area" during linking
My PRGs are on a Novell Network drive and my dlls etc. are in the Program Files (x86) local. Will I have better results if my PRGs are in a 64 bit folder?

Win8 BSOD "Page Error in nonpaged area" during linking
While linking a big app about one in 4 times I'm getting the blue screen of death showing the above error. I'm running a newly installed 1.9sl1.
