Autorefresh
Roger, Using the autorefresh, and on one of the programs, the client wanted to set filters/limitations for some users to view only selected items, so we used the array instead for the browse. The autorefresh does not work when we do that, so looking for some sort of resulution without them having to...

Windows Server File Write
We have an external process that runs 24/7 and twice yesterday one of the files that is used over and over again to write out for edi was resaved/overwritten from a .dbf to a .$$$. We had no error message until it tried to open the file the next time on the timed event. This exe does not use ads and...

Errors
We have one user, about 15 years, only 5-10 users, that started getting odd errors recently, unsure exactly when, but within last 6 months. 2.0, not ads. The errors are operating system errors when (1). zapping a file and (2) same when overwriting a file, or sometimes creating a new file. Normal netw...

Running exe on Task scheduler
Roger, We run exe's on task schedulers at many locatons. Most not a problem, never stop. What we are trying to accomplish is to write out an error log (ie, like in errorsys.prg) but with no prompts, just close the exe. We can then trouble shoot why an exe gets hung up, which does occur at a location...

Re: Auto-open
On this, when mdiblock is sent the menu option, what is the actual item, STATIC PROCEDURE MDIBlock( bAction, ctitle ) What exactly is bAction? When I try to see what it is, like with an alert, it says it is not a character string. In this case, need to change it as if they selected pudisp() as the p...

Re: Auto-open
Worked this another way, but still a problem but only in ADS. All menu options are mdiblock() When they select any menu option (only the first time) it opens the one the mgt wants them to open. Works fine on non-ads, gives an error on the ADS. Menu looks like this ACTION { || MDIBlock( {||Pudisp()},...

Auto-open
Is there a method to automatically open a specific menu option for a group of users when they login. The menu has probably over 200 options, but they want to force open one specific item for their own reasons. Menu still is displayed as normal ACTION { || MDIBlock( {||Pudisp()},'Load Status Screen' ...

Sendiing posts to url
Roger, We do a lot of posts to url, but lately most using Curl. We have a client that gets a very weird error (says The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-console-l2-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. " At first we tried to use our post, but the file to post is apparently too big, and o...
