Re: BOA Presentation (Build Online Applications)

Hi, Chris. Thanks for presenting. I understood that BOA is a software needing an Apache server which is contacted by the users. Then BOA talks to another server which is my application endpoint (four kinds of endpoints) and answering the requests (with JSON structures) the BOA software creates. BOA ...

Re: DCPUSHBUTTON blink

IMHO, there are only two ways to implement blinking controls: a) The usage of an animated GIF (and an ActiveX-control which is able to show animated GIFs) or b) a separate thread (as Wolfgang mentioned - a timer) that shows and hides whatever needs to blink in a selected time periode, like every ten...

Re: DCPUSHBUTTON blink

Don't put blinking stuff in your apps. This is what we did in the eighties. Re: BOA Presentation (Build Online Applications)

If it is possible to use your Zoom account, that is probably the best option.
I will post the invitation link on may 11th. If you want to record the session, you must use the Windows Client for Zoom.

Re: BOA Presentation (Build Online Applications)

Hi, Chris.

Eleven guys decided to have this on may 11th, 6 p.m. If the Jitsi server would be used, a grabber software would be needed for making a video of this. We could also use my Zoom account, which allows video recordings. Anyway, an invation to this would be also posted here.

Re: What Java library or dll can be used to develop a WEB GUI in Xbase++?

Hi, Diego. It seems like you are dreaming of a kind of "transpiler", which is able to convert code in a way that turns it into a web application. Even in the earlier years of the web, that was not a good approach. Roger tried to do something like this with DCREAD HTML, but he had reasons to stop thi...
